We always expect to see cultural collabs in NYC’s food scene, and this weekend’s pop-ups and drops are no different. And they’re actually taking it to another new level. A Lebanese-Mexican menu, South East Asian and Afro Caribbean dogs, a Thai gelato drop, turkey and duck in two forms, and a Chino Latino collab are all on our list. If there’s one thing you won’t be this weekend, it’s bored.

Luis Ahuet is bringing Ceniza back for two days this weekend with a Lebanese-Mexican menu at Frog. Olive oil rolls, a little gem salad with Parmesan dressing handmade pappardelle, pumpkin ‘love letters’ and olive oil chocolate cake…yes please.
Tristen Epps x Chaat Dog

Chef Tristen Epps, and Pervaiz Shallwani of Chaat Dog, are dropping hot dogs that are topped with Afro-Caribbean and South Asian flavors. The menu includes lamb dogs with jerk mushrooms, beef dogs with Ethiopian heat, the OG Chaat Dog, a buuter chicken sasage Chaatwurst, frito pie inspired Chaat-Cho’s.
Thai Ice Cream Sandwich Sundae

Fish Cheeks and Caffè Panna… need I say more? The Thai Ice Cream Sandwich Sundae is of coconut sticky rice and Coconut Candied Peanut ice cream, layered with panna, brioche crunch, peanut butter & coconut. The sundae is available thru Sunday, at both stores.
Turduken Shwarma

Happy 2 years to Hen House! To celebrate, and in the spirit of Thanksgiving they’re making a Turducken Shawarma two ways. From noon on Turducken Shawarma on a Split will be served up followed by a Turducken Shawarma cake.

Chino Grande’s very own Chef Dylan Golden and Chef Milton Revilla are dropping a special menu this Sunday. Mexico meets Puerto Rico meets the east features dishes from both chefs, including clams y chorizo en brodo, slutty ceviche, camarones zarandeados and more… with karaoke Latino going through the night.
