This Weekend’s Must-Eat Food Pop-ups & Drops in NYC: June 12, 2026

Keeping up with NYC’s food pop-ups and limited dish drops is basically a full-time job. 8it does it for you. We track the most time-sensitive drops across the city (from chef residencies to one-day collabs to sidewalk pop-ups) and every Friday we hand-pick the ones we’re especially excited for. Here’s this weekend’s must-eats…

This weekend is taking NYC to another level: Knicks Game 5, the World Cup, Brooklyn Pride, and the Puerto Rican Day Parade, all packed into two days. That’s before the parties even start – Paella Rave Vol. 4, Pacha’s opening, Public Service, just to name a few. Put your party pants on, preferably with an elastic waistband, because there’s a lot to eat between stops. Here are five must-eat pop-ups to get you started.

The menu, created by Arroces and Cmarty’s Jerk bring together the flavors of Spain, Jamaica, and Hennessy’s new Ready To Serve Cocktails. Jerk Chicken Paella, Jerk Pulpo a la Gallega, Scallop Crudo , and for the veggie lovers, Smoked Stracciatella Toast with Escabeche (charred eggplant, bell peppers and onions). This is a 21+ event.
