Consider this your backstage pass to the hottest pop-ups & limited-edition eats in NYC! Dive into our weekly curated list of upcoming food adventures before they disappear 🧨💥

Super Bowl weekend is here and if you’re watching it – whether for the game or for Benito – or just eating through it, this weekend’s must eats make both worthwhile. Personally, I’d rather be posted at a table with a big plate than watching the big game… and lucky for us, we’ve got options. This weekend has something for everyone, from an Italian pasta party to cozy Greek comfort food with a New York twist… and yes, a proper game-day wing drop for the football loyalists. Whether you’re watching every play or skipping kickoff entirely, there’s no excuse to eat mid this weekend.

Katerina

📍Casetta
🏠 61 Hester St, NYC
🗓️ Sat 2.7 | 4pm till sell out

Katerina cooks Greek food through the lens of a New York restaurant kid, pulling from memory instead of tradition for tradition’s sake. This Saturday’s pop-up is built around cozy twists like clams avgolemono, guanciale and radicchio in flaky phyllo, scallop crudo brightened with satsuma and sumac, and heavier hitters like short rib pastichio and eggplant-celeriac moussaka.

Superfly Mob

📍With Others
🏠 340 Bedford Ave, BK
🗓️ Thru Sun 2.8 5-10:30pm

Carolina Ross started Superfly Mob as a “roaming project” in 2021, cooking between cities with Oleg, a Ukrainian-born chef whose instincts pull from Eastern Europe, France, Italy, and Asia without locking into any one. This weekend’s à la carte menu includes influences from all of them: oysters dressed with coconut cream and pickled pumpkin, Basque crab and jambon croquettes, tamarind-laced beef tartare, and a Comté-stuffed omelette that eats richer than it looks. Finish with the burned Basque cheesecake. Boom.

🗓️ Sun 2.8 5pm till late

Ciao Evento takes over Sauced for a one-night pasta party led by chef Andrea Belfiore, built around fresh dough and unapologetic chaos. The menu runs from pan brioche with anchovies to a bastard grilled cheese spiked with chili crunch and mostarda, then hard into what they do best… pasta: 30-yolk campofilone with saffron butter and aged Parm, ricotta raviolo with brown butter and Vacche Rosse, and classic tortellini con panna. Finish with tiramisù, drink all the vino, and don’t plan on leaving early.

🗓️ Sun 2.8 11am-11pm

Gotham Burger Social Club is spreading it’s wings… literally. On Sunday, they’re dropping game day wings – a classic buffalo, served with blue cheese/ranch, and of course a side of carrots and celery. You can eat them in, pick-up to take to your TV, or order them for delivery. Knowing you’ll need more than a half dozen, these babies come in varying quantities up to 50 wings per plate.
