Gary Hur Was Once Addicted to Ssam

The Ssam

📸: @the_ssam_nyc

Gary Hur was once addicted to ssam and ate it for three months straight for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now, he’s sharing it with the world at Nimbus in midtown. Ssam is the Korean word for wrap, and Hur’s version fuses Korean and Vietnamese flavors and textures with 14 different ingredients. Rice paper is carefully stacked with egg, perilla leaf, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, carrots, Korean meats, cucumbers, apples, bell peppers, mushrooms, mint, avocado, cilantro and rolled tight for these unique creations.
